The 31st Annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards will be held on Saturday the 24th of March in California and will be graced with some African flavour. Cassper Nyovest, Caster Semenya, and Black Coffee recently gained nominations for the awards and are among other African artists to be nominated. Black Coffee is nominated for Favourite Global Music Star while Cassper, Davido, Diamond Platnumz, Caster Semenya, Emmanuella (Nigeria) and Eddy Kenzo (Uganda) are nominated for the Favourite African Star category.
New categories will be opened every Monday leading up to the awards, voting lines for Favourite Global Music Star will officially open on the 5th of March while the Favourite African Star category will be open on the 19th of March. The show will be hosted by John Cena on the 24th of March and will air the next day, don't forget to pay DSTV so you can watch as well!
