Following the release of Things I Should Have Said Last Year mixtape which dropped just a week ago, ShabZi finally released his awaited For The People EP. Unlike his previous project which sported 16 tracks with all of them having been released before as loose singles, For The People has new singles ShabZi's loyal supporters will sure take a liking to.
The project is produced entirely by Beats By Blass who has worked with ShabZi plenty of times in his past releases. The rapper keeps the aggressive nature in his delivery as he talks about his arrival in the game. Right Here was probably the best pick to be the project's opening track because it's sort of an answer to everybody asking where ShabZi's been since Vuzu Hustle. So a while back, Bouga Luv released his timeless hit track, Sangena which he sampled from Diana Ross' It's My House - ShabZi went through these classics to create a track of his own which carries a similar laid-back vibe as the original. Get It is the only track on the EP that was dropped as a single before the project was released, the track gained ShabZi some notoriety in the industry which is probably why it made the cut here. Through most of the project, the rapper lets listeners and fellow rappers know that he's one of the best around - he carries this narrative from Right Here all the way through to Who De Best although he switches up at the end of the project. Admit It has him tap into his vulnerabilities, talking about how people complicate things with their lies. This project further shows just how hard ShabZi loves the music and his supporters, something that will most certainly take him further - watch out!
