The music video for Riky Rick's hard hitting Pick You Up is finally pon' us and it's quite the looker. Boss Zonke enlists the gripping work of upcoming director Morale Pablo Phala for a layered visual.
The music video starts off with Riky Rick in the streets of a hood against a taxi before he becomes surrounded by the neighbourhood kids, right before it cuts to a darker shot with A-Reece in some ruins. The short clip ends just as you get into it but that's also the nature of the track itself. Morale's work is quite intriguing and engaging to the eye as you find yourself trying to "catch" every edited graphic on screen as the frames bounce, flip, roll in and do all sorts of magical multimedia things. This is yet another brilliant video by the Cotton Club leader. BRAVO!
