It's a great day for groundbreaking news and Rouge is on the receiving end as she finds out that her short film adapted from her debut album, New Era Sessions, is listed for the 12th Annual South African Film & Television Awards (SAFTAs). Her movie which aired on MTV Base in October 2017 explored the 4 quadrants of her album and unpacked different emotions and progressions in her being and music through film. New Era Sessions is nominated for Best Micro Budget Film: TV Non-Fiction, and although we haven't seen the other contenders, we are hopeful that we will walk away with it.
