DJ Sabby drops his safety awareness track that will have you clutching your pearls at the stories told in the song. He calls upon the written wizardry of Rouge, Sjava and Kid X for the tales in this chapter, accompanied by the piercing vocals of Nelisiwe.

You are forgiven for thinking 'cause this is a "safety campaign song" that it will be boring or quite inauthentic but we assure you, the message is both loud and clear, as well as relatable. Rouge opens it up with a touching story of how sending a friend a bottle as a gift actually ended up sending him to I.C.U. Already by that first verse my heart is broken. Then Sjava comes through with having thought he scored himself some good company kanti things go south very quickly. In the meantime, Kid X is being reckless by taking chances driving under the influence of alcohol, also endangering someone in the process, and it doesn't sound like things are gonna end well for him. To be honest, we spend most of our lives on the road - whether as a passenger or a driver - and there's nothing we haven't seen in terms of risky behaviour that has often left us saying our last prayers thinking "this is it!" Asifikeni is just a reminder that you won't always get away with those bad habits and reckless behaviour. You know what they say, rather safe than sorry. Sabby, I am shook! The song is excellently executed and if people don't heed the message asazi ke.

Cop the song on iTunes right now and PASS IT AROUND TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW!
