This comes just a week after Lupe Fiasco reached out to Proverb about the SA Hip Hop industry and a few days after the H&M sweater issue. Hammer spoke about people of colour needing to stand together especially now because of all that's happening around us that's done to provoke us.
And finally I say to my Sisters and Brothers there’s no need to fight. We’re being enslaved again and insulted as a people by powerful dark forces and we must band together, surround and support one another and celebrate those elevated in and by The Light. #Thuto pic.twitter.com/n3AwVdFAjG

Shout out to Hammer for showing love to African talent. Cassper is currently out in Lagos, Nigeria, and just received an award for Best Hip Hop MVP at the SoundCity MVP Awards Festival. South Africa stand up!
I can’t express how much I appreciate this award. It gives me hope for SA hip hop and African hip hop as a whole. It says “keep going, you’ve got the right direction.” A Tswana Boy from Mafikeng did that!!!Shout out to the African Hip Hop fans!!All the glory to God. #SoundCityMvp pic.twitter.com/gr1lO5gNSl
