@illRow - Real Hip-Hop EP

illRow is looking to add to the array of emcees putting Cape Town on the map as he drops yet another EP soon after his previous one titled Flats To eKasi Pt 1 which he dropped last year. I can tell you now, there's nothing that tickles my fancy like short projects - particularly those that manage to illustrate an artist's capabilities within a concise time frame. That to me is true brilliance. 

illRow thought to remind you that he makes "real hip hop" and is not about that "bubblegum" music. I'm starting to get to know him better with every new music drop. Mapping his persona, he's grungy, hardcore, ambitious, and very traditional in his music approach. I love the fight he has for classic rhythm-and-poetry. You'll never catch him slipping on anything else but the boom bap. On Real Hip-Hop he makes it a point to flaunt his rhyme skill sporting different flows like a laid back one on the title track, before he speeds it up on AWE. 2018 Finna be a massive year of growth for illRow.
