Skeem Sa 2015 is here to drop off their new project, the Kopo EP. We last saw the gang when they released their first single as Underdog competitors and have since dropped a few more joints which helped build a steady fan base in preparation for their project. "Sound Ya Ko Teng" (directly translated to "Sound from within") is the style and blend of different genres they use in their music. With twelve tracks in the bag, the Kopo EP sports some unique song titles and a wide array of producers with the features kept to just the guys in the crew.
After a brief introduction to the new year, we get to hear a blend of old-school Kwaito, slick raps and trippy sounds as well as some Motswako flavours on there; sounding like the guys hail from Bokone Bophirima. Overall the project is a really great listen and you can hear just how much love the Skeem has for their music.
