We are totally blindsided by Megmafia's announcement that she is now the first lady of the African Trap Movement founded by Emtee and his homies. The news comes just after she dropped a cryptic tweet talking about how she's finna double up in 2018 having been sitting on the sidelines observing the game.
Introducing the first lady of #ATM @african_trap thank you to my favourite superstar & big brother @EmteeSA ???? pic.twitter.com/nRSeAwtRV5

It turns out she was not bluffing. ATM is a huge movement which also happens to be a boys only club with all the members being male making Megmafia the first female addition to the group. Although you might immediately tort that Megmafia is not a trap artist, it doesn't take away the fact that she's one of the sickest emcees out there and perhaps being surrounded by musicians like Emtee or Sjava might give her some good guidance and influence. Before you think that she's about to flip her sound, let us reassure you that something like that is highly unlikely (but you would know that if you were a true fan). Way to close off the year with this revolutionary announcement. I'm already over 2017 now, I need to see all these movies that 2018 are promising. Congratulations to Megmafia on this new journey, we can't wait to hear more.
