It has come to our attention that Gigi Lamayne has left her record label, Mabala Noise, after being with them for a year and 4 months. The announcement of her signing came in July 2016 when Mabala Noise signed a huge roster of artists including Major League DJz, Nasty C, Riky Rick, Khanyi Mbau, and Latoya to name just a few.
Gigi's departure from the label was finalised on Tuesday, 19th December 2017, after she and the label came to the amicable agreement to go their separate ways. Gigi owes her departure to their inability to match vision when coming to her creative direction. As a result, she has decided to start on a new leaf going into the next year as she prepares for her all new sophomore album due towards the end of 2018. She shares some gratitude for Mabala Noise's efforts in her career in the time she's been with them. I'm certain that is a good stepping stone for more growth on her end. We'd like to wish both Gigi and Mabala Noise luck with the continuation of their individual music journeys going into the fresh year. We can't wait to see what either have in store for us in the future!
