The widely acclaimed South African Hip Hop Awards took place last night and sparked some controversy in the culture. The ceremony was held at the Lyric Theatre in Gold Reef City Casino and was a combination of performances, handing of awards and some spice here and there. Of course, not everybody left the venue in the best of moods but it did not change the fact that it was indeed a wonderful night for South African Hip Hop.
