Blaklez finally drops his highly anticipated summer jam with Cassper Nyovest today and it's a pleaser. You'd think it's all about the party but as usual, Blaklez is on his Steve Biko with a mic sh! as he raps about the cracks in society, particularly the toxic "high life" in Jo-hustle-burg.
The track comes as the fulfillment of a promise he made to drop a track with a big feature after pushing the Baby Brother album back. The sound on Saka Nyuka is laid back and matches with both his and Cassper's flavours, added with a tinge of the kwaito influence he often has in his music. Got us yelling, "Jiva jou sh!" We just love how Blaklez manages to bring it back to consciousness while still having a good time on record. Impressive.
