@towdeemac - Flight Of A Giant Angel (DJ Zondi Tribute)

The SA Hip Hop community, particularly the Motswako family, is in mourning after the loss of Dj Zondi who passed away last week. Pours of shock posts and heartbreak over his sudden death are still prominent on social media as we all reflect on his love, kindness and infectious personality. Towdee Mac, having been someone awfully close to him, has been struggling with coming to terms with the situation (like many others who loved Zondi dearly). 

Short Madala pays tribute to DJ Zondi with a soundtrack for his trip home. He drops an eery beat filled with soft elements and a heavy piano presence which he titled Flight Of A Giant Angel putting a sound to Zondi's departure. It's quite special if you ask me. Although it's a bouncy beat, it has a level of supernatural occurrence to it. A touch of magic as you imagine Zondi flying to where he's been called to. May his beautiful soul rest in love, and may he find the same joy he brought to us while still on earth wherever he is going. PULA!
