Espiquet drops off a 5 track EP for the streets. He's starting the week off hitting the ground running if you ask us. The opening, Vibe, which is a freestyle finds him messing around on the mic as he immediately goes in as soon as the beat drops.
He kinda lets you know that he's here to rap and nothing else. You hear that in Flavour which sounds a bit more "serious" given that it's a complete song. We're digging his elusive sounding beat which spills into the well received Wait Outside featuring Riky Rick. The continuity in sound on this EP is pretty cool 'cause it's all smooth sailing as you go through the brief project. We're followed up by Out My Face who's production has that menacing early 2000's production reminding me of Sisqo's music. You don't hear it? Aye... Cye and Lefa M are hella beasting on this track as well. They bring a sense of urgency to the track.
The project closes off with Sorry 4 This which is a fake apology for killing it. By the end of the EP you're already accustomed to Espiquet's deep voice which sticks in your head relentlessly. Dear non-believers, sorry, not sorry for winning!
