@95majik - I Never Use To Pray EP

By @Lenoir on 11/20/2017 in Projects You Should Hear

After releasing the project's trailer just a few days ago, Majik finally gives us his I Never Use To Pray EP. The project features guest appearances from MyThron record's MDB (Maglera Doe Boy) as well as Tommy Flo as the only features on the six-track offering. For The Family is self-produced and features Maglera Doe Boy finding both artists thanking their families for their continuous support whereas in Shawty Callin', Majik sings about a girl only giving him attention when he has money. The title for Grew Up basically speaks for itself and with assistance from Tommy Flo, the artists rap about how they've left their childish ways and are now focused on their growth. Moving Up is a trippy joint that has Majik sing about how he's well on the way to the top which is why many other rappers hate on him.

Majik later expresses how he's been left off for Too Many Times that he started doing his own thing. The track is more upbeat than most of the others. On the album-title track, he slows things down a notch as he shares how he never used to be religious. He's joined by a female vocalist who backs his verses and helps bring more life to the track. This is quite an impressive offering from Majik and although it only consists of six tracks, we're hoping he'll be dropping some more music soon.
