Lungelo Manzi drops off a new celebratory track titled Manzimanga which sounds more like self affirmation than anything else. Every now and then you need to reflect on your own fight and give yourself a pat on the shoulder.
Lungelo is such a special talent, from the minute I heard his music I was curious about his standout uniqueness and we're so glad that authenticity is not fading anytime soon. Manzimanga takes a similar shape to his SOL Incubator album's single, Nomathemba, in how he croons the hook of the song before he takes the verses in rap form. He accounts many a thriving times that required him to work hard to cut through the challenges. He paints various scenarios of toil and truipmth throughout the song. We're digging the infectious humming in the background of the hook which kinda gives the song its warmth. Usebenzile ngempela ndodana!
