"Being black is not a matter of pigmentation. Being black is a reflection of a mental attitude..."
Durban songstress Nomagugu tags along Erick Rush for a proudly black song celebrating something we all possess, melanin magic. The track finds the songstress singing eloquently about blackness. From the old adage, "Black don't crack" to the strength and beauty of our people, Nomagugu sings from her chest about slaying. Enter Erick Rush and he reiterates the depth of the roots of black people. We're loving how they both sing together later in the song making this more of a collaboration than a feature. Well then, [*flicks afro*] I'm feeling blacker than I was this morning. Hey beautiful people of my continent and the world over!
