We sit down with the North god himself and we talk about everything from his newest album release High Level, his album tours, F2D Productions and what some of his memorable times in the past 10 years have been.
He starts off by telling us his analogy on albums versus singles which explains why he drops an album every year. Speaking on the producers of the album, we get to ask him about his highly exaggerated "split" with Gemini Major and Yanga which was more like a "mission accomplished" separation than bad vibes as the fellas continue to work together to date. And if you ever wondered why we don't have an AKA and Da L.E.S album yet, your answer is in the interview - *wink!*
Da L.E.S is a man of great focus, you hear this in his emphasis on never straying away from the core purpose of making music. Being the pioneer that he is, he takes us back to his relationship with Amakipkip when they started bursting onto the scene round about 2010 (although founded in 2006). He also talks to us about the culture of touring, as well its importance. If you wanna know what else Da L.E.S can do after so many years in the game, this is only the beginning and he tells us what to expect from him next year in this chat below:
