We sat down with Mozambique's golden boy, Laylizzy, who just dropped his latest single Slay along with its visual and since we last spoke to him, his star has undoubtedly risen higher in the galaxy.
He speaks to us about the hip hop industry in Mozambique explaining what the "commercial" scene might be like, compared to the really dark underground scene. He also schools us on the economic structure in Mozambique (hope he doesn't get himself into trouble). We're so proud of his strides, especially since his popularity is spreading to as far as Kenya and Nigeria, along with his neighbouring countries Zambia and Zimbabwe.
