@VeezoView - PRE VISA EP

One of Botswana's star players, VeezoView drops his EP, PRE VISA, which serves as an in to his world. The 6 track piece is quite potent despite its short nature. Veezo gets vulnerable, is hopeful and full of energy throughout the project. 

Amazing is a great opening to the project with him proclaiming his excellence. This is him saying, "Why, welcome to my royal palace." On Lost we get a vulnerable side of him as the track's smoothness consumes you. At the same time, Veezo's delivery is so crisp that you latch onto his every word as he raps his heart out. Lost is a great prelude to Come & Go with Yaw Bannerman which is a tale of him trying to win someone he admires. No matter what he does though, there's a constant realisation that girls "come and go," to which he resolves to believe (I think for his own protection). 

We're really digging the continuity on this EP. No matter what feeling Veezo taps into, the project flows coherently. Case and point, the way Come & Go's pacy atmosphere gives foot to the Thaiwanda Thai assisted ASAP is impeccable. Here's the best part though, the hook on ASAP which reiterates the intent to get Zaka opens the floor for expansion in the next song. AICH! Can we spare a moment for how the sweet harmonies in the back really compliment Yaw Bannerman's dancehall flavour? Excellence. 

In case you wondered about how much finesse Veeze really possesses, he comes down from the party to seal the EP with a rapper's track featuring who better than the Ginger Trill himself. It's not his fault that he's got the class, precision, flow and confidence that a lotta yo'll wish yo'll had. That, and many other life choices he really has no control over 'cause it's the best or nothing for him.
