Celebrity is a very sentimental track to her as she wrote it a long time ago when she first started rapping and was falsely told that her idol AKA thought she was wack. OUCH!
Fast forward to today and the Supa Mega (as well as Queen B) love her work. It's also a song dedicated to her parents to let them know that she will make it. Ironically, at the time she wrote it she was encouraged by her father to never give up and today, after her debut album has dropped, her parents couldn't be more proud. There are actually so many layers to this song, 'cause I also remembered that the message in the song is about the kind of "celebrity" she wants to be. We're still tripping off her album around these parts. Can you blame us?
