Busta Rhymes delivers a visual fit for movie theaters with the music video for Girlfriend which features a slew of key guests over and above the two artists who are actually on the track, Vybz Kartel and Tory Lanez.
The movie starts off with a landing in Jamaica by Bus-a-bus where he's met by the goat Beenie Man who welcomes him home. They ride in luxurious style to a yacht party which they think ended too soon. Nevermind all that 'cause soon after dinner with Ninja Man and Junior Reid, they head to a mega street party. My favourite part of the video, apart from Busta Rhymes' outstanding Jamaican lingo and accent, is Vybz Kartel's jail scene where Busta drops by before heading to the party to check him out, where he subsequently delivers his part of the song from behind the cells. So beautiful. Nonetheless, the party they head to seems never ending as Tory Lanez is present, along with Spice, Bounty Killer and Foota Hype who seem to add that much madness to the already crazy day that's been had.
