@iamkevingates - Imagine That

Kevin Gates' new album By Any Means 2 is out all thanks to Dreka Gates who undertook the release of the project. We get a beautiful visual for Imagine That which is taken off the album and it's something of tear jerking material. 

In the opening of the video we hear a call between Kevin and his daughter Islah, who's birthday party is coming up and she reminds him to be there. Such an innocent yet painful conversation to listen to. We then see the stars of the video being Dreka, Islah and Khaza who run around, play and in some parts are found in frozen stances starring dead at the camera. The best part of the video is having the kids rap their daddy's lyrics in the hook and some of the song here and there. Seeing more of the visual, we get images of families all over the hood juxtaposed by friends and family wearing "Free Kevin Gates" t-shirts. The black and white treatment of the video is such a good call. It makes you feel like you're trapped in a dream or a memory which is kinda what you imagine must be going through Kevin's mind as he thinks of his family whom he's separated from at present. Well done Dreka, you're the boss.
