@Maggz100 On The New Era x Why It Took 8 Years For An Album

By @Spokenpriestess on 09/26/2017 in Balcony Interview

In part 2 of our conversation with Maggz, he explains to us how he landed the minimal features on his album when he has a pool of so many artists at his disposal. This leads us into the back story of how he met L-Tido, Morale and Da L.E.S. It goes way back, back in time, back to the 90's, back when... Okay, I'm taking it too far now.

On a serious note, we ask him why it took this long for us to get a new album from him and when he tells you the unfortunate happenings of the past few years, you can't help but feel his pain. At the same time, we can say that a blessing delayed is not a blessing denied so everything homie has gone through was leading him to this moment, right now in his career. We also find ourselves in the conversation of why the "OG's" are not connecting with the kids and some light is really shed in this discussion. We love these balcony chats, new perspectives everyday.
