Bidding Farewell To #UnderdogDay With @ODC_ODMUSIC

By @Spokenpriestess on 09/20/2017 in On The Ground

It was merely over a month ago when Wednesdays used to be reserved for the takeover of the Underdogs and now that system is no more as the new website upgrade allows you to upload your own music on The Streets for yourself. You no longer have to wait in line for an approval to be posted, you can merely upload your music or video and promote it on the page yourself.

ODC, pronounced Odyssey, is the last of our Underdog winners and he lets us into his world regarding when he started writing music as well as how he is juggling a full time job while trying to pursue his passion. It's evidently not easy to get ahead but his spirit is "never say die." Winning Underdog Day has been a big stepping stone for him in terms of the support he received from his family and extended friends all over the globe, along with getting through to The Stir Up with Ms Cosmo.

Don't depair about the discontinuation of Underdog Day though, we're brewing a new way of highlighting eager and talented acts that are displayed on The Streets page with an even bigger package than winning a show at Cantare and being played on a leading hip hop show in the country. We can't wait to introduce you to DISCOVER. Farewell Underdog Day, you have served us well.
