@DJDINOBRAVO ft @Gigi_Lamayne @bodenim x @buffalosouljah1 - Burn Out

Sounding like a blast from the past, Dj Dino Bravo samples one of my all-time favourite classics by Sir Sipho Hotstix Mabuse, Burn Out and he features the talented Gigi Lamayne alongside Bo and Buffalo Souljah. You can hear that Dino wanted to keep most of the original production of the track intact with a few changes added here and there for a more personal touch, like the tapping in the beginning and the kicks before the first verse. Gigi raps about a lost love and how she now longs for the affection, comparing their romance to that of Romeo and Juliet. Bo jumps in on the chorus adding his own spin to Hotstix's original lyrics and then Buffalo Souljah delivers his verse after the bridge, adding his dancehall/reggae flip to the track. I love the fusion of different sounds here, also digging how Dino made the track sound electro in some parts.
