Thanks to his wife and business partner, Dreka Gates, Kevin's music will still be going out even though he's incarcerated. The rapper's forthcoming album is set to drop on the 22nd of September and he gave his wife the power to curate and put it together to which she's doing quite a splendid job. The latest offering is titled Beautiful Scars and features XXL freshman, PnB Rock, who laces the chorus and sings about the fact that while looking at the past, one needs remember to aim and focus on the future to turn failures into successes. Gates comes in with verses that tell of how his past mistakes and experiences have shaped him continuing to play important roles in his current relationships. With that explained, the title is better understood as learning and benefitting from one's past.
