What a magnificent display of creative thinking and compelling storytelling. PalmTree Paradise delivers an impeccable visual for their Tropical Reign track with Reason titled On My Way. With a huge group such as PalmTree you'd be forgiven for wondering how they're gonna pull their music videos and anything else off but they sure did apply themselves on this motion picture. On My Way is the love letter of a working man who just needs his woman to be patient with him. This man would do anything he possibly can for his woman, the only problem is that he often works late nights and doesn't always get time to be with her. Throughout the course of the video you see men from different walks of life on their phones chatting to their lady loves. 

A rapper who just killed a performance (Reason) opens the visual confessing about the temptations that his job brings but promises to come home to his girl. In the bathroom he bumps into some douchebag (Hook) who then carries the rest of the music video in continuity. He gets into a cab driven by Sydrow who's rushing him to where he wants to be so he too can go home to his woman as well. When Hook gets to baby girl's complex the security guard is Pdogg who's blushing on his phone and refuses to let him in unless he gave him "cool drink money". 

Just when you thought homie is finally gonna see his girl, as he steps out the lift he bumps into a cleaner (June) who won't let him pass 'cause his floor is still wet. MY WORD! The things this poor guy goes through issa lot nyana. Surprisingly, the cleaner himself is thinking of his bae while he's miserable at work mopping the floor so he whips out his phone and sends some heart emojis before he puts down his utensils and decides to go home. FINALLY HOME BOY CAN GET SOME NOW. This video is just inexplicable in its genius. We adore the continuity and how each man took on a vital role that bled into the next, all the way till the end of the video where we all feel like we are part of Hook's victory. Magical.
