I find the title of this track funny because a while ago Sarkodie dropped a song with Runtown called Painkiller which had them sing and rap about their ladies' love being medicinal to them. Now it looks like Sarkodie took a bit too much of his lady's love. This song, or the video rather, takes much inspiration from his West African roots - from the face and body painting to the attire. Sarkodie raps in front of a backdrop which features some rocky mountains and a zebra. The masked man who is also the main character of the video strolls around different places with his radio in hand, seeming jaded as he walks up to the hills. He kinda looks like and African astronaut with his whole gear. Overdose is off of Sarkodie's recently-dropped album, Highest which also features Painkiller as a bonus track.
