Wiz Khalifa teams up with PARTYNEXTDOOR for the infectious sounding Rain, produced by the formidable Sledgren and Cardo. The fellas are sounding hella liberated on this track as they celebrate their "weather skills". The familiar saxophone loop in the background adds a bit of bounce to the track lifted from the main song that comes to mind when you hear it (All The Way Up).
The track comes as a pleasant surprise since PARTYNEXTDOOR is gearing up for his upcoming album drop Club Atlantis while Wiz Khalifa is steady dropping loose singles at a rapid pace recently coming off Something New. I do find that PND's voice on this track is a bit different (much raspier) making his delivery so close to Wiz' own voice on the track. It becomes more prominent when they both sing together and exchange on the hook. We like the synergy they have on this one.
