We got to sit down with Nasty C to catch up on his current The Ivyson Tour and he also spoke to us about his involvement in the second season of Coke Studio Africa. For those of you who form the 90% of the population who didn't know what "Ivyson" meant, it's short for Ivy's son. It's a pleasure.
Anyway, Nasty C talks to us about why he thinks Coke Studio asked him back on the show for another collaboration. We then spill into what his studio recording process is like and it's quite cool if you think about how many sick tracks the boy has recorded. We don't get no writer's blocks around these parts baby.
Nasty C lets us into the fact that he is arranging this whole tour by himself, buying all new equipment, designing the stages and even posters for the tour. We like this! I think this is a good exercise for him to undertake such a monumental assignment for himself. He already kicked it off this past weekend in Cape Town and he's looking to have one in Jo'burg so stay tuned to his social media and engage with him about where he should go next.
