Braam Fashion Week returned to The Playground in Braamfontein this past weekend, drawing one of its largest audiences to date. Organisers reported selling more than 500 tickets, with turnout surpassing expectations and signalling the growing influence of Johannesburg’s homegrown fashion movement. Building on the momentum first noted in May’s Winter/Fall edition, this latest showcase reaffirmed the event’s mission to spotlight emerging talent and to bridge fashion with music, art and urban culture. The strong attendance has also sparked renewed calls for a larger venue and expanded investment as Braam Fashion Week continues to evolve into one of the city’s most anticipated creative gatherings.
