‘Mbali Yam’ serves as the lead single from Yanga Chief's upcoming EP, ‘IMVELAPHI’ which promises to showcase a completely new sound from him. The single, which Yanga Chief has been meticulously crafting for years, serves as a public tribute to his mother and the unwavering love and support she has provided throughout his journey.

Every year that went past it just felt too personal for me to release it publicly. My mom has been the only person who’s love I can consistently rely on no matter what.
